In this Slack tutorial, we'll share some of what we've learned about using slack to support your Reacting class. This interactive session will provide an overview of the platform (and its pros and cons), and then dig deeper into practical questions and best practices for use. There will also be personalized practice time for each participant, and a Question and Answer portion. Because of the personalized time, we are capping this session. This is also a great opportunity to help train Teaching Assistants or Preceptors who may be helping your classes.

You'll learn:
Why you may wish to use Slack for your classes
How to set up a slack workspace
Ways to organize and structure channels to support the social, community-building, and persuasive aspects of Reacting games
How to introduce your students to the slack platform
Considerations for different mechanics, apps, and integrations for slack
Also included will be access to recordings of mini-tutorial videos showing how to set up a slack workspace, channels, and more.

PRICING
$30 for members; $40 for non-members
