MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL GUIDE

If you'd like to renew early, change membership levels, or add colleagues to your institutional membership, follow the steps below. If you have already received an invoice and renewal notice, and wish to stay at the same membership level, you can simply follow the directions in the invoice email you received.

STEP 1. LOG IN

Click on the "Log In" button on the upper right hand corner of any page on this website. 

Then a small form will open. If you know your Email and Password, you can go ahead and enter them. If not, or if it's your first time logging into this website, click "Forgot password," and you'll be sent directions for resetting your password. 


STEP 2. CHANGE, RENEW, ADD

Once logged in, you'll see your profile page, and the heading "Membership details," where you can find your relevant membership information, including  current status,  level, and your next renewal date. 

To change your membership level click on the word "Change" in red next to your membership level. Remember: we now offer 5 Year and Lifetime individual membership options. 

To renew click the large, red button that says "Renew to [New Next Renewal Date]." 

Add colleagues the institutional membership 'bundle administrator,' can add additional faculty or staff at any time from your profile page. See more below.


STEP 3. REVIEW & UPDATE


Ensure your contact and account information are current. While you're in there, might as well check, right? So take a few moments to review and update, so we can serve you better.


STEP 4. COMPLETE PAYMENT

You can pay by check, credit card, or bank transfer. Select "Invoice Me" if you will be paying by check or bank transfer, or "Pay Online," if you wish to pay by credit card right away. Once your payment is received, you will receive a confirmation email, and your membership status will be updated to reflect your renewal. 



STEP 5. CELEBRATE

You did it! Celebrate yourself! Or at least celebrate crossing something off your to do list. And know that your students will thank you, too. 

Seriously, thank you for renewing your membership. It helps sustain the Reacting Consortium, and means that we can continue developing resources and making them easier to use. 


AUTORENEWALS

We are thrilled to announce that our new platform allows for autorenewals for your membership. If that is not your preference, you can deactivate the autorenewal from your profile under the Invoice and Payments tab. 

INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERS - BE SURE TO REVIEW AND UPDATE

As mentioned above, your annual renewal is a good time to ensure your institution’s contact information is current.  This is especially important for our institutional members. 

Update your "Bundle Administrator" for Institutional Memberships
If you are no longer serving as the primary membership coordinator for your institution, please send us an email, or assign that duty to someone else at your institution.


Update Your Institutional Member Bundle 
Institutional member benefits extend to all staff regardless of professional area responsibility and are included in the annual dues paid by the institution. In order to access member benefits, staff must be listed on your institution’s membership bundle. The institutional 'bundle administrator' can view and update all associated faculty through your profile.  You can also add new faculty using Reacting to your 'bundle,' from your profile page (just scroll down below member details), or by simply clicking the 'Join' tab while logged in.
